The Opera Ball is one of Tulsa’s longest running society events and the premier “coming out” ball for the city’s elites. While it’s also a significant fundraising event benefiting Tulsa Opera, the Opera Ball is all about tradition. For Opera Ball debutantes, part of this tradition has always included the gift of a special piece of keepsake jewelry. For nearly half of the Opera Ball’s storied history, this gift has been a custom pearl and diamond necklace provided by Bruce G. Weber Precious Jewels. These lovely necklaces become a beloved piece of each young lady’s jewelry collection, something that she will wear and cherish throughout her life and perhaps pass along as a family heirloom.

The Foundation’s mission is to find a cure for cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for people living with the disease. This is accomplished by research funding and working to provide access to quality care and effective therapies for people with CF.

Over 98% of the metals used in our shop are recycled and re-refined. Even the rhodium plating solution we use is sent to a refiner for recycling and reuse, with earth friendly disposal. We also recycle all the worn-out batteries from our watch shop— over 5,000 a year! All of the chemicals we use are earth friendly, and our equipment utilizes some of the highest quality HEPA (High Efficiency Paritculate Air) filters available, to keep the air clean.
We have taken steps to reduce our carbon footprint by converting our light sources to earth-friendly, high efficiency solutions. We continue to look for opportunities to reduce our impact on the environment.
Each item that goes through our shop for repair or alteration gets three separate quality checks before it is handed back to the customer. First, the goldsmith who performed the work checks it for integrity, finish and overall repair quality. Next, the shop supervisor checks it again, and finally the salesperson handling the job checks it. Three checks assure you that your item was repaired the right way, and will last.
