In 1952, after graduating from college and serving in the United States Army, Bruce G. Weber returned to Tulsa and joined the family's jewelry business. With a degree in business administration from the University of Tulsa, along with a lot of ambition and creativity, Bruce helped grow the business into a premier jewelry retailer in the United States.

Over the next few years, Bruce developed a series of in-home jewelry shows, introducing exceptional jewelry collections to some of Tulsa's most prominent socialites. The showings were a huge success. In addition to attracting new clients for the family business with his stunning collection of precious jewels, Bruce G. Weber himself became fascinated with the jewelry. His fate and his future were sealed. Working tirelessly and focusing his skills, Weber's eye for perfection and great design would successfully earn him a name in the marketplace.

In 1967, Bruce G. Weber was contacted by William F. Fisher, President of Miss Jackson's, an upscale women's specialty shop in Tulsa's Utica Square. After hearing about Weber's mastery of the precious jewels business and the elegant parties, Fisher wondered if Bruce would be interested in leasing space inside his store. The two struck up a business deal and the first Precious Jewels Salon was born.

With the successful opening in Miss Jackson's, six additional Precious Jewels Salons soon premiered across the country. Although the growth was exciting, Bruce realized the direction of the family business, which comprised three other divisions, was not in line with his own vision. In 1976, Weber left his position as President and CEO of Selco, the family's fifty-store conglomerate, to develop his Precious Jewels niche. Weber dedicated himself to refining and growing his unique style of consistently offering superior merchandise to discerning customers coupled with better value and personalized customer service.

On April 1, 2001, after more then three decades of successful business in Miss Jackson's, Weber opened his own free-standing jewelry store at the southwest corner of 21st street and Utica Avenue. With twice the space and a fresh open atmosphere of sleek Romanesque columns and circular jewelry cases, Weber still displays select designs from the world's top jewelry designers. Long time patrons and many new and contented customers flock to the store to experience the individual attention and designer collections that can't be found anywhere else in Tulsa, or even in Oklahoma.

Today, Bruce G. Weber Precious Jewels remains well known within the couture jewelry industry and enjoys a local legacy of trust, reliability and a commitment to excellence.
